United States Public Use Microdata Areas ("PUMAs"). This report shows all the 2000 PUMA areas (the smaller "5%" ones) along with the SuperPUMA in which they are contained and lists of counties and places that comprise them. The 2000 population count of the 5% PUMA area is also shown.
A variation of the previous report, the mopumas.pdf is a 3-page report
showing just the Missouri PUMA's, grouped and sorted by the 10 major "Super PUMA" regions and indicating the page on the mo_puma5.pdf map booklet, which consists of 2 pages of Super-PUMA overview maps and then 10 pages of maps, each showing the detail for one Super PUMA. The reference to the map booklet in the subtitle is also a hyperlink. Highly recommended.

Missouri Metropolitan/Micropolitan Statistical Areas
Shows the counties that comprise these (vintage November, 2008) Metropolitan and Micropolitan
Statistical Areas with 2000 and 2008 estimated populations. (See Bureau web site for
complete U.S. definitions.) This was updated in Oct. 2009 to reflect change announced in summer of 2009 (effecting the
Cape Girardeau metro area which became metropolitan).
Note: OMB Bulletin 09-01 was was released circa July, 2009. It contained updates to CBSA (Metropolitan/Micropolitan Statistical Area) definitions as of November, 2008 (making them the current 2009 definitions). These OMB bulletins are referenced from the Census Bureau's web page (linked to in previous bullet) but as of 7/09 this new one had not yet referenced. Nor was the revised data available for download from the Bureau's site yet updated to reflect these latest updates. We checked back and found the files we needed to
update our CBSA-related files and reports in October. 2009. Which are now the basis of what we link to below.
