Some tables with base year data from the 2000 Census and health surveys do not yet have comparable current year data. The only current data upating the census items comes from the American Community Survey. As of 11/2008 we have data only for areas of at least 65,000 population and even then some data items are suppressed because they are deemed to be statistically unreliable (by the Census Bureau). When the item is available for some areas (counties) but not the current one you will see a period displayed to indicate "no data". We expect to get new data for counties with populations of 20,000 or more in December of 2008. When a cell is blank for an area it means that we have no data source for that data item for that year (for any geography).
