| American Community Survey | Jerry Deichert, Nebraska State Data Center |
Census 2000 data are now over five years old. If you need more current information, the American Community Survey (ACS) can help. The ACS asks the same critical demographic and economic questions as the decennial Census, but on a yearly basis. In this workshop you will be exploring the American Community Survey website and experimenting with the available data. It is designed to provide you with thorough information on the ACS contents and how to use the website, so that you will have the knowledge and skills needed to utilize this rich new source of information. |
