MCDC Training Conference - 2005

Announcement and Feedback/Pre-Enrollment Form

Sorry - Registration for These Workshops is Now Closed (7-19-05)

The MCDC Training Conference will be held on Monday, July 25, 2005 at the Memorial Union (and nearby classrooms) on the campus of the University of Missouri - Columbia. The day long conference will begin at 9:30 A.M. and end at 4:00 P.M.. It will consist of short (25-minute) opening and closing general sessions and four 2.5 hour in-depth training workshops, some of which will run concurrently. Each workshop will be hands-on, with Internet access. Attendees will have the choice of two from among the four offerings. If sufficient interest is expressed we will consider offering some of the workshops both in the morning and in the afternoon.

The conference registration fee will be $35 and will include a buffet lunch served in Stotler Lounge in the Memorial Union. If (and only if) you respond to this form (by choosing the workshops you would be interested in, filling in the required Id info and then hitting the Submit Form button at the bottom of the page) you will be notified by early June of the final program and the sessions you will be able to attend. You will also be provided with a registration form at that time along with instructions on how to make your payment. The maximum enrollment per workshop will vary but will never exceed 25 persons. Although filling out the form does not imply a formal commitment to attend the conference, we ask that you please keep in mind that we will base our planning on the assumption that you will be attending. We reserve the right to cancel any of the workshops if the results of this posting indicate fewer than 12 persons interested in attending.

The following table describes the four hands-on workshop sessions that we plan to offer at the conference. Please indicate your interest in attending these by entering a number from 1 to 3 in the boxes provided in the Rank column. If you are only interested in two workshops then you should make 2 entries, one of them a "1" (indicating your first choice) and the other a "2". If all three workshops are of interest you can enter numbers in each row with the numeric values entered indicating your first, second, and third choices. If you have questions, see the Questions/Comments line at the very bottom of this page.
